It is a monumental work of art that employs numerous media, including ceramics and china-painting, to honor women’s achievements. A symbolic banquet, The Dinner Party represents thirty-nine “guests of honor” with painted plates rising from intricate textiles draped over the tabletop. Heritage Panels are seven large, hand-colored photo murals explicating the 999 names inscribed in gold luster on the porcelain Heritage Floor which provides the foundation for the Dinner Party table.
